Before you message: have these ready
The chat goes faster when you are not hunting for things halfway through. None of this is difficult, but each item is something we end up waiting on.

How to get an online cricket ID in four steps
Here is the sequence in full. Every ID we have issued followed this order, and the order exists for a reason: the desk cannot create a login on the exchange until it knows who the login is for, and the exchange cannot credit a balance until a deposit has landed.
- Open the chat and name the exchange. Use the WhatsApp button on this page or the link on our official channels page. Your first message can be as short as "Hi, I want a Skyexchange ID." A person replies from the same number. If the reply comes from a different number, or asks you to move to another app, stop there.
- Send your name and confirm your age. The desk asks for your name as you want it on the account and asks you to confirm you are 18 or older. It reads your mobile number from the chat. It may ask where you are based, because availability depends on jurisdiction and the desk would rather find out now than after a deposit.
- Make the first deposit by the route the desk gives you. The desk explains the current route for your chosen exchange, usually UPI or a bank transfer, and states the current minimum in the chat. You pay, take a screenshot with the reference number visible, and send it back. No figure printed anywhere else counts, including on this site.
- Receive your ID and log in. Once the payment is confirmed on the desk side, your ID and the login link arrive in the same chat. You open the link, type the ID exactly as sent, and set a password of your own on the platform. From that point you are live.

What to send, and why the desk needs it
New users sometimes over-share out of nervousness, sending a photo of an ID card or a bank statement nobody asked for. Please do not. The list of what the desk actually needs is short, and anything beyond it is a warning sign about who you are talking to.

Notice what is missing. No password. No OTP. No card details. No bank login. If a chat asks for any of these, you are not talking to the desk, and our safety page explains how copycat desks get people to hand them over. What the desk sends back
Three things, and always in the same chat you started.
First, the deposit route. That is the UPI handle or the bank details for your exchange, with the current minimum stated in plain words. The route can change, which is why we never print it and why the desk re-confirms it if a day has passed since you last asked.
Second, after the payment is confirmed, your ID. It is a short username, usually letters then digits. Copy it exactly. Capitals and zeros against the letter O catch people out more often than you would think.
Third, the login link for the exchange. On some exchanges the desk also sends an app download in the chat. Install only what arrives in that conversation. Nothing from a search result, nothing from a group forward.
What the desk does not send is a password. You create that yourself on the platform during the first login, and the desk never sees it. If you forget it later, the desk can trigger a reset from the registered number, but it cannot read it back to you, because it does not have it.
Your first deposit
The first deposit is the step where people get nervous, so it helps to know exactly what a normal one looks like. The desk gives you the route. You pay from your own account, in your own name. You screenshot the confirmation screen, not the pending screen. You send the screenshot to the same chat. The desk matches it and confirms.
That is all. There is no second step where someone asks you to pay again "to activate" the account, and there is no processing fee collected in the chat. Those two phrases are the fingerprints of a copycat, and our guide to spotting copycat exchange sites goes through the others.
Pay only the route the desk gave you today
Deposit details can change between one day and the next. If a UPI handle or account number arrives from a different WhatsApp number, or appears in a forwarded message, or is quoted on any website including this one, do not pay it. Ask the desk to confirm the route again in your original chat. A real desk is never annoyed by that question.

Your first login
Open the link the desk sent. Type the ID exactly, capitals included. The platform asks you to set a password on first entry. Choose one you do not use anywhere else and keep it off WhatsApp entirely, including the desk chat.
Once you are in, do three unhurried things before you place anything. Check that the balance matches your deposit. Find the cricket section and open a live or upcoming match so you can see what a back price and a lay price look like side by side. Then find your account statement, because that is where you will look when you want to know what happened.

Most people use the exchange in a phone browser and it works fine that way. Where an app exists, the desk sends it. Bookmark the login link the desk gave you rather than searching for the exchange by name, because search results are where copycat sites live.
Mistakes we see every week
None of these are stupid. They are the natural shortcuts a busy person takes, and each one costs time or money.

Asking for a new cricket ID when you already have one
"New cricket ID" means two different things in the chats we see, and it helps to be clear about which one you want.
If you want an ID on a second exchange, that is a new ID in the proper sense. Say so in your existing chat: "I have a Lotus365 ID, I would like a Laser247 ID as well." The desk runs the same short process, and because it already knows you, the questions are fewer. Each exchange has its own balance and its own login, and the one ID or many guide weighs up when a second one is worth having.
If you have lost access to an ID you already hold, that is a recovery, and asking for a "new" one creates a duplicate the exchange will eventually flag. Message the desk from the registered number, say the ID is lost, and it confirms your identity and sends the ID back.
