How a withdrawal moves
Your request starts as a WhatsApp message and ends as a credit in your bank app. In between, four hands touch it. You send the request with your ID. The desk checks the balance and the details you gave. The exchange back office debits your account and releases the transfer. Your bank or UPI app receives it and posts it to your statement.
A cricket ID withdrawal can stall at any one of those four points, and the fix is different at each. That is why "where is my money" is a harder question than "where is the request right now". When you ask the desk, ask the second one. We can see which stage your request has reached. We cannot see inside your bank.
If you have never withdrawn before, the plain flow is laid out on Deposits and Withdrawals. This page is about what to do when that flow does not finish on time.
The reasons we see most often
We keep a rough tally of why payouts get stuck. The same handful of causes cover nearly every case, and most of them are visible from your side once you know where to look.
| What we see | What is actually happening | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Open bets on the account | Part of the balance is locked in a market that has not settled | Wait for the market to settle, or ask the desk which bet is holding the funds |
| Name mismatch | The bank account name differs from the name given when the ID was issued | Send a screenshot of the account name from your bank app so the desk can match it |
| Request sent without an ID | The desk cannot tie the message to an account | Resend with the ID, the amount and the receiving details in one message |
| Account review | The exchange is checking recent activity before release | Answer whatever the desk asks, in the same chat, and do not open a second one |
| Bank-side hold | The transfer has left the exchange but has not posted yet | Look for a pending credit in your bank app, then share the reference with the desk |
| Busy queue | Several requests are ahead of yours | One clear follow-up, not five |
| Wrong receiving details | A UPI handle or account number was typed incorrectly | Tell the desk immediately with the exact text you sent |
The first row catches more people than the rest put together. A session bet placed during the last over of the evening is still open the next morning if the market has not been settled, and the money sitting in it is not yours to withdraw yet. Nobody has taken it. It is waiting for a result.
Check these before you message again
Run through this list first. Half the time you'll find the answer yourself, and the other half you'll be able to give the desk something useful instead of "still waiting".
- Open the exchange and look at your open bets. Anything unsettled is holding funds, and the desk cannot release those.
- Compare the name in your bank app with the name you gave when your ID was issued. Even a missing initial can trigger a manual check.
- Reread your request. Does it contain the ID, the amount and the receiving details in the same message, or spread across three?
- Check your bank or UPI app for a pending credit before assuming nothing has left.
- Compare the time you sent the request with the window the desk gave you in the chat. If that window has not closed, the request is not late yet.
- Make sure you are still in the chat you opened from this site, not a number that messaged you first. Official Channels shows how to tell.
The message that gets it moving
A vague follow-up makes the desk ask three questions before it can act. A complete one lets us answer in a single reply. This is the shape we'd like to receive, with your own details in the brackets.
"Hi, my ID is [your ID]. I requested a withdrawal of [amount] to [UPI handle or account] at [time and date]. Which stage is it at, and is anything needed from me?"
Send it once, in the same chat where you placed the request. If the desk needs a screenshot of your bank account name or a transaction reference, it will ask. Our page on how the WhatsApp chat works has more templates for other situations.
Nobody will ask you to pay to release a withdrawal
A withdrawal is paid out of money that is already yours. The desk does not charge a release fee, a verification deposit or a tax to be paid before the transfer. If someone in a chat asks for any of those, you are not talking to the desk. This is the single most common trick used by fake desks, and it works because people are anxious about money that is late. Close the chat, keep the screenshots, read the Safety page, and report the number to us through the chat you opened from this site.
How much the exchange matters
It matters, though not in the way most people expect. The desk is the same whichever exchange you use, so the request itself is handled the same way. The settlement behind it is not. Skyexchange, Laser247, Lotus365, 11xplay and Reddybook each run their own back office, and the desk confirms the current figure for each in the chat rather than us printing one here that will be wrong by next month.
If payout handling is the thing you care about most, ask about it before you pick an exchange, not after your first request. The comparison page sets out what we can honestly describe about each one, and our note on holding more than one ID covers why some readers keep a second exchange for that reason.
When to escalate
Escalate when the window the desk gave you has passed, you've sent one complete follow-up, and you've had no reply. Not before. The Help page explains what to include, and we will chase the request from our side with the exchange. Bring the screenshots of your request, the desk's reply, and your bank app showing no credit. With those three we can usually see where it stopped.
If you are reading this while a withdrawal is pending and none of the causes above fit, open the chat and ask which stage it has reached.
